DIEGO TESTI AWARD
The "Diego Testi Award" was created in memory of an entrepreneur from Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella who was a member of the Board of Directors of AS.MA.VE. for 25 years, from 1996 to 2021, the year in which he suddenly passed away at the age of 56.
Diego was a member of the Board of Directors, supporting the proposed activities and personally promoting the stone industry with brilliant insight and biting irony.
For this reason, in the months following his death, AS.MA.VE. felt the need to organise "something" to keep alive his memory and the commitment with which he always promoted the use of natural stone with conviction.
It was therefore decided to set up a competition with a cash prize for architects and students enrolled in the last year of the Faculty of Architecture who submit a project using natural stone; this competition has been named the "Diego Testi Prize".
I progetti verranno visionati da una Commissione che stabilirà i primi classificati rispettivamente della categoria of Architects and Students respectively.
This competition has been designed to last over time, so each year the Commission will decide on the theme of the setting to be designed.
